July Favourites

I cannot believe that July is already drawing to a close, can someone please explain to me how that happened? It has gone by in a whirlwind and along the way I have discovered some really great new favourites that I think you are going to love. I can't wait to share with you what I have been wearing, watching, listening to, reading and just generally loving this month, so let's get started, I mean I have a lot to get through so if we don't get going who knows how long this will take!

Style File: Dots & Pleats

I don't know about you but I have always found dressing for summer really difficult. Here in Britain we are lucky if get a few days of sunshine, so the month long heatwave we have been experiencing has really made me re-evaluate my summer style. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the summer, but I am definitely more of a winter person when it comes to fashion, I am all about the layering and bobble hats! However, over the last few weeks I have had no choice but to venture into my (tiny) summer wardrobe and try to put together some relatively cool but collected outfits, and today I thought I would share one of my favourites with you.

Paris for Paul Smith

Recently I was lucky enough to be invited to go to the Paul Smith Spring Summer '18 Show in Paris and today I thought I would share everything about it with you. The show itself was bright, fun and gave off all the summer vibes. On arrival we were greeted with biscuits and ice-cream, something we were very grateful for in the scorching Paris heat. Alongside the rubber fish invitation I had received a few weeks prior to the show, these little touches gave a small taste of what we were in for once we got inside. Summer was about to begin.

How to Collage

I have been collaging for as long as I can remember, it is such a great way to chill out and do something creative. I love how it allows you to create beautiful art so quickly and easily by using old magazines that would probably otherwise end up in the bin. I mean it is essentially grown-up cutting and sticking with an element of recycling! Who knew art could be so eco-friendly!? Anyway, today I am going to give you a rundown on how I collage and hopefully you will be inspired to get creating.
