Q&A #2

I love reading and watching Q&As and maybe this is because I am a really nosey person, but I just think they are so interesting!  They are such a great way to learn loads about someone that you follow in a relatively short amount of time and as you all loved my last Q&A so much, I thought I would answer a few more questions for you today. Also, as we are so close to Christmas, I thought it would be wrong not to include a few bonus Christmas questions too, be sure to tell me your answers in the comments! If you missed my last Q&A you can check it out here, I answered loads of questions including what camera I use, my all time favourite film and the one product that I couldn't live without. Anyway, enough about that Q&A, it's time to get on with this one...

What would be a typical breakfast for you?

I normally have a bowl of Crunchy Nut, which is quite possibly the yummiest cereal ever; some oatcakes with honey on and then a small glass of juice (anything but orange, ugh). Sometimes I will also have a banana because they are my go to fruit - I eat so many of them! I don't really like hot drinks, apart from hot chocolate, so I skip over that part - apologies to all the coffee lovers out there!

Would you ever get a tattoo?

It is hard to say as I am very indecisive & my taste changes so regularly that I'm not sure that I could ever commit to one design.  I feel like if I ever did (hypothetically) get one I would definitely go for something small & in an illustrative style, and using only black ink. Don't hold your breath though!

Do you watch any soaps?

I have watched the Australian soap Neighbours on and off throughout my teenage years and right now I am absolutely loving it. It is so sunny all the time and the storylines are just brilliant, not to mention the Australian accent! Unfortunately they are on their Christmas break at the moment, but come the 8th of January I will be tuning in to Channel 5 to pick up exactly where we left off. I highly recommend.

What was the first concert you went to and what was the last?

I went to see Hilary Duff (otherwise known as Lizzie McGuire) in 2006 and that was the concert that started my love affair for live music. I still have the t-shirt and I am ashamed to say it still just about fits me, I will never throw it away. I also still have the ticket, programme and glow stick, I'm a sentimental person - what can I say! The last concert that I went to was Billy Bragg with my parents, as my Dad is a huge fan. I have seen him three times and he puts on a brilliant show every time, there was a great atmosphere.

Do you play any instruments?

When I was younger, I played the violin for many years and I am actually Grade 3 on it. Goodness knows how I got that far, but I guess that's pretty cool, although I don't play it any more! I have also been playing ukulele for about five years now & absolutely love it. I actually have three different ones and I practise with my ukulele band once a week. It is such a fun instrument and if you have ever wanted to play an instrument then I would highly recommend getting a ukulele!

What were some of your favourite programmes as a child?

When I was really young I was a huge fan of the classic 'Teletubbies' and 'Tweenies' - so fun. When I was a bit older I loved 'The Story of Tracy Beaker', about a girl who lived in a care home and  'Arthur', a cartoon show about an aardvark called Arthur. A few others that I was obsessed with were 'Mortified', 'Lockie Leonard', 'M.I High' and 'Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow', the list goes on. I am now going to go and find all of these programmes and re-watch them, they were so good!

Bonus Christmas Questions

What are your favourite christmas songs?

This is a tricky one, but let's go with 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' by Mariah Carey (I play this all year round), 'Christmas Time' by The Darkness and I actually really like Gwen Stefani's new one with Blake Shelton, which is called 'You Make It Feel Like Christmas' - very catchy.

Are you good at wrapping presents?

I'd like to think I am, I spend a long time making sure they look perfect. I love to use use quite neutral paper and then dress them up with string or ribbon - although I know this really annoys the people who have to open them because it makes it so tricky to pull them open, oops! My top tip for present wrapping is to get some sticky labels, you can get some absolutely gorgeous ones and it will save you so much time. I got mine from Homesense this year and they are copper and white with little calligraphy decoration - lush!

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Not that I can remember, but we did have snow last week so this year we were very close. We definitely don't get as much snow in the UK as we did when my parents were growing up, which is a real shame.

I hope you have enjoyed learning a bit more about me today, I love to answer your questions. If I haven't answered your question, or you'd like to tell me your answers to these questions, be sure to leave it/them in the comments and I will try and answer as many as possible before Christmas! I hope you all have the absolute best Christmas ever and thank you for all of your AH-MAZING support this year, I wouldn't be doing this without you all. Merry Christmas!
